and I suppose I could start!
pretty easy to see my name is Andy!!! I started watching Seahawk football when I was a little boy living in southern Alberta. Our tv game out of Spokane at that time and every Sunday there was this Zorn guy throwing the ball to this slow and under sized receiver named Largent and I was hooked. Never made it to a game in the Kingdome, which is unfortunate looking back but life gets in the way! The first year in the new stadium I went to my first game vs the Redskins and I had a blast. The following year my wife and I went down to a game on boxing day and I was introduced to Mr and Mrs Seahawk, Kiltman, Shadowhawk, Cannonball and Paintedhawk and they took me in as one of their own! Countless games now in the books and I've had the opportunity to meet so many incredible people through being a Seahawk fan!!
When I first learned of the Sea Hawkers I thought it would be a great way to meet even more crazy Hawk fans and I was right. I first joined the Rocky Mountain crew out of Denver and attended a huge tailgate party in the Mile High stadium...you'll remember that one as the hottest home game in Denver history but sadly we lost. It gave me insight that Canada could do this too and with lots of help from Ryan and Tams, here we are!
Easily my most memorable experience has been attending Super Bowl last month in New York/Jersey. Meeting so many people and being part of the family is easily the biggest thrill I've had though and I'm honored to call so many of you and them friends.

My name is Laura, I live in Coquitlam BC , I used to be a huge Canucks fan, then I met my husband Mike I asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he said " I want to go to a Seahawks game in the new stadium" aka Seahawks stadium, now know as Centrylink field. OMG!! I was hooked, it was that day that I became a Seahawks fan, that was 13 years ago. I had never experienced anything so exciting in my life. It was the whole atmosphere that did it, the game, the fans everything. Ever since that day I have been hooked. Women used to tell me that I'm not a real woman because I like football, LOL I laughed and thought that they don't know anything, only if they really knew how many women like the game. Every game I watch I learn more about football, and become more and more addicted...I admit, I'm addicted The best thing that happened to me was becoming a Canadian Sea Hawker in 2013, and being able to enjoy hanging out with people that are just as addicted as me..hehe . The most exciting thing that has happened was the Seahawks winning the Superbowl, now I knew how it felt, OMG, I want to get that feeling again. Hoping for round 2 in the 2014/2015 season. GO HAWKS!!

My first attempt at the Newbie Check-In was a fail, so here goes again! I’m Mike and am from Coquitlam, BC and I have been a Seahawks fan since 1983. My dad got me into watching them initially and I knew that I was going to have to go to a game live. My first game was in 1986 in the Kingdome. Even though the Hawks were blown out that day, I had never experienced anything quite like that before. It was at that point that I knew I was hooked! I was able to attend a number of games in the Kingdome including the very last game ever played there, the Wild Card game versus the Miami Dolphins which was back in the days when the Hawks were playing in the AFC. This game was also Dan Marino’s second to last game that he played before retiring. When I went to San Francisco for the first time in 1994, I found out that the 49ers were playing when I was there and they were playing the Hawks. I had to go to this game even though it was a preseason game! I also saw the 49ers play the Hawks at the only NFL game which was ever held at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver. I also attended one Hawks game at Husky Stadium when the new stadium which was to become CenturyLink Field was under construction.
Around the time CenturyLink was to open as Seahawks Stadium, I had met my wife to be and she asked me what I would like for my birthday. I told her that I would like tickets to a Seahawks game in the new stadium. I got the tickets and when my wife went to her first NFL game she was hooked immediately! She was a huge Canucks fan prior to this and she had never experienced an atmosphere like this ever! I succeeded in the conversion lol! We try to get to at least one game a year and am hoping one day to become season ticket holders.
I have a few greatest moments as a Seahawks fan. Of course number one is our Super Bowl victory this year. I had been waiting for this for a long, long time and to see it happen against our one time bitter former divisional rival, the Denver Broncos made it even sweeter for me! Being able to attend the Seahawks Super Bowl victory parade was a great experience. It was an adventure I will never forget! My wife and I were in attendance at the Hawks-Rams game and thanks to Tam found out that Steve Largent and Jim Zorn were doing an autograph session at Touchdown City. I had always wanted to meet Steve and it was quite a thrill for me to finally meet him and now I have my very own autographed mini helmet! Also another great moment was when we joined the Canadian Sea Hawkers prior to the start of this season. I have greatly enjoyed my time as a Canadian Sea Hawkers so much this year. Special thanks to Tam, Ryan and Andy for making this season so great! I look forward to meeting as many of my fellow Canadian Sea Hawker as possible over the next upcoming season!
